Celebrating Wyatt's 2nd Birthday!

Wyatt turned 2 on 2/22, how cool is that? When he woke up in the morning his mom asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said "cake". His mean mama made him wait all day...lol. We went out to Wendy's for dinner and a birthday celebration. Wyatt didn't specifically ask for Wendy's, but he did want french fries. After dinner, Wyatt got a cake! He thouroughly enjoyed it, as you can see in the pictures. Yummy!! After cake, it was time for presents. It came as no surprise that Wyatt got lots of train stuff. He has become a little train fanatic. He knows all the (Thomas) engines by name. He usually can be found carrying a train or two, along with his favorite stuffed monkey (aka Key). Too cute!!
Gram and Gramps came into Wendy's with two trains in hand. Luke noticed Grandpa giving Wyatt a train. He was quick to say, "train me" over and over again. Luckily for him, Gram and Gramps brought one for Luke too.

Isn't she adorable!!!

I love 3 day weekends and holidays!! I was desperate to get out of town, for a change of pace and some much needed family time (minus all the home distractions). We headed up to San Luis Obispo. I must admit one of the highlights for me was eating at Applebee's. I love their Oriental Chicken Salad. I wish our Applebee's would reopen. Anyways, we had a great time hanging out downtown, shopping at the Parable and eating at a 50's diner in Oceano despite the fact that I had a terrible sinus infection.
The trip was a bit shorter than we hoped for because we had to work around the sports schedule. Noah had a basketball game Saturday, Sam had a soccer meeting on Sunday and Noah had his first baseball practice of the season on Monday. Let the craziness begin...LOL. Spring sports here we come!
