Salem's VP of the Year

Chris, Ed and Evan
Evan was very surprised and humbled to be awarded Salem's VP of the year, along with Chris. Both of these guys work really hard and believe that Salem has a mission beyond the dollars and cents. Evan, we are very proud you!! The work ethic and character you have shown to our children and your coworkers is truly commendable. I pray that Salem will be able to reach many people for the Lord.

Princess Academy

t

The Disney Outlet had a Princess Academy. Faith, Lorelei and Serena were the three cutest princesses in attendance, if I say so myself. As the crowd gathered, each girl received their crown. Tea (juice) and cookies were served . They learned how to curtsy and give a princess wave. The girls seemed to have fun.

From the parental perspective, I was a little disappointed. They offered a discount if you shopped during the program, so we obliged. At the register, a mistake was made and it literally took the entire time of the program to fix it(plus the manager was rude) . Talk about frustrating! To top it off, it turned out that the discount was only on non-clearance princess items. Next time, I will skip the shopping??

Zoo With Gramps!

Faith, Lorelei, Luke, Grandpa and I headed off to the zoo today. Everyone had lots of fun! We decided to go, because the girls had an extra day off due to teacher inservice. Wyatt had a doctors appt. in Santa Barbara, otherwise we would have taken him too.

Gymboree with Luke

Luke loves Gymboree. He enjoys playing on the equipment, taking a ride on the parachute and catching the bubbles. When we first started Gymboree, Luke was scared of the parachute and was very cautious about trying new things. He is a little pro now. Way to go Luke!

Faith's Big Day!

Faith had a great birthday. She got to celebrate at school with her friends! In addition to being line leader, Faith got a birthday crown. She seemed to be a little uneasy with all the attention. (She is so not Sam, lol.)

We had Panda for lunch. Evan, Gram and Gramps met us there. Faith loves the noodles and rice. After a yummy lunch, daddy headed back to work but the rest of us went to Build=A-Bear. Luke slept soundly while Faith and Lorelei made their animals. They had lots of fun! Faith's favorite part was probably typing all the information in the computer.

The girls came home to continue their playdate. Before we knew, it was dinner time. Grand China was Faith's choice. The dinner party included the Masyr 6, the Larson 4, Mam, Tara, Gram and Gramps. Back at home, cake was served and a good time was had by all.

Happy 5th Birthday Baby Girl!! We love you forever and always!
