Faith and Lorelei decided that they wanted to have a joint party at Jolly Jumps, which was great. The girls are best friends despite their nearly opposite interests. Faith is rough and tough while Lorelei is a princess through and through. Faith loves to read and write. Lorelei likes dinosaurs, but her true joy is playing dress up. I hope they are best friends forever. I can see so many adventures in their futures.
The party was an overall success, but it had a few rough moments. The girls (Faith, Lorelei and friends) jumped and squealed in delight, as only little girls can. They slid down the slides, bounced in the bouncies and climbed the rock wall.
Despite all the fun options, Faith melted down because she wasn't tall enough to ride this lame ride. The frustration was amplified because they allowed her to ride it at Zoe's party last month. Faith yelled and stated repeatedly that she did not like "their rules" and that "they are mean." I wanted to curl up and die, as she showed her very worst in front of family and friends. She almost made herself vomit. On the other hand, I think it is so stupid to have an activity that excludes some kids. I think I liked it better when it was just a jumpy place. Long story short, Faith came around and enjoyed the rest of the party.
