As we went to Open House, we were a little sad as it will be Mr. Farrell's last year at Cam Heights. Both Samantha and Noah had the pleasure of being in his classs. Samantha was a very impressive and eager to please student. Mr. Farrell built her confidence and gave her opportunities to shine.
Mr. Farrell has been a great teacher for Noah! I can say with a great amount of confidence that they both challenged each other. Mr. Farrell teaches at a higher level, which Noah desperately needed. Noah is extremely bright and Mr. Farrel was impressed with Noah's abilities in math, technology and reading. It was great that Noah's potential was recognize! Now came the challenging part for Mr. Farrell, which was motivating Noah! Noah can be lazy and he has the "strongest will" of anyone I have ever known. This aspect of his personality can be great when channeled properly, but it can also be extremely frustrating at times. You know the saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." Anyways, thanks to Mr. Farrell for helping Noah channel much of his energy into learning. I am happy to say that he drank enough water to stay hydrated most of the time.
We will miss you Mr. Farrell!
